To conclude the tournament and to toast a great week of hockey, World Cup participants are invited to attend the Closing Ceremonies. Set in a formal atmosphere, players get one last opportunity to gather with all of the other teams and enjoy one last evening consisting of dinner, cold beverages, and hockey stories.
The closing ceremonies and dinner for the 2016 CARHA Hockey World Cup will be held at the Collosseum at Caesars Windsor. Athletes, guests, volunteers and organizers will come together to celebrate the success of the event at the magnificent Collosseum at Caesars Windsor. Experience the 5,000 seat entertainment centre while overlooking the Detroit skyline.
Participants will be treated to a superb menu featuring local foods and an evening of entertainment. A special multimedia presentation will be featured focusing on the participants from the World Cup and all the events that took place over the course of the event.
The Closing Ceremonies will include an exquisite buffet and plenty of cold beverages. Throughout the course of the evening, there will be recognition of the tournament champions, finalists, a charity cheque presentation, door prizes and a live band providing entertainment.
Once all of the formal activities are over the stage is cleared and the estimated 2,000 guests get to let loose one last time together as they hit the dance floor to party the night away to the tunes of a live band.
